Our welcoming New Farm Clinic has been carefully designed to offer a serene and luxurious experience, with many patients likening it to a sophisticated resort spa. Upon arrival you will be greeted by our friendly patient concierge team, who will check you in and get your patient forms prepared prior to the consultation.
Please enjoy a tea or coffee in our waiting area while you peruse the information paperwork and complete the patient intake forms. If you feel inclined, you can complete these online in advance so you can just relax on the day.You can come to the appointment without makeup on if you prefer, but otherwise there is a dedicated station where this can be removed prior to your photos being taken.

Before Your Consultation
Prior to your consultation, you will be taken through to our private photography room to have your clinical images taken.
This will include a series of skin quality photos using a state-of-the-art VISIA skin analysis platform that assess the skin based on the five domains of skin health: pigmentation, vascularity, texture, UV damage, and overall skin age.
Rest assured, all clinical images are confidential and used solely for your medical records.

Comprehensive Skin Analysis
At Ascension we take a holistic approach to ageing and believe the secret to looking your best starts with skin quality. As such, the first step on your journey is a Comprehensive Skin Analysis with one of our experienced Dermal Clinicians. This allows us to create a tailored treatment plan based on your individual skin concerns.
We’ll discuss treatment options, including expected outcomes, risks, recovery times, costs, and other important details. We aim to create a personalised plan aligned with your skin health and preferences.
It’s important to share any allergies, medical conditions, ongoing medications, previous procedures, or adverse reactions to ensure the safest and most effective treatment.
Cosmetic Consultation
Once we have a clear understanding of your skin health, Dr. Scott Allison or one of our Registered Cosmetic Nurses will then see you for a Cosmetic Consultation to review your medical history, aesthetic concerns, and goals.
The Doctor or Cosmetic Nurse will begin by asking about areas of your face where you have concerns regarding wrinkles or fine lines. We’ll carefully evaluate your facial anatomy, taking note of the dynamic wrinkles caused by muscle movements and expressions. This assessment helps us determine the appropriate treatment plan for your goals.
We’ll discuss all the non-invasive treatment options available, recovery times, costs, risks, and other important details. We will also enquire about your expectations from treatment. Understanding your goals allows us to manage your expectations realistically and ensure that the treatment aligns with your desired goals.
Before and after images of patients with similar facial profiles can also be reviewed, to set expectations and outcomes for treatments around volume loss and skin rejuvenation.
Our consultation process is designed to make you feel comfortable and confident in your choices. We encourage you to take your time, consider all the information and options, and bring a support person if needed. You’re welcome to review your decision before committing to any treatment, ensuring you feel secure and informed about your aesthetic journey.
This is a vital part of the patient journey and something that we allow generous time for. There is also no obligation to go ahead with treatment on the day, even if you have booked in for this in advance.
Aftercare
If you do decide to go ahead with treatment, your clinician will provide detailed aftercare instructions and a written care plan to help you achieve the best results. We’ll also give you contact numbers and options for follow-up appointments to address any questions or concerns.
Dedicated Patient Support
The day after your treatment, our patient support team will check in to see how you’re feeling and offer any additional assistance. Our goal is to help you enhance your natural beauty while ensuring you have a positive and comfortable experience. If you prefer not to be contacted after your treatment, just let us know, and we’ll respect your privacy.
