What is FaceTite?
As an innovative alternative to a traditional facelift, FaceTite can treat the lower facial areas with radiofrequency assisted liposuction (RFAL), using a few small incisions. The radiofrequency waves will melt the targeted fat cells, before they are gently suctioned out with a small cannula. Not only can liquifying the fat cells before removal can help to prevent lumps and bumps, but the radiofrequency waves also help to stimulate collagen production. The increased collagen production will help the treated skin tighten after the treatment, contouring the area.
Before & after images of our actual patients.
During a consultation with our clinic, we will show you a multitude of before & after images and find cases where the patient had similar anatomical features to you, so we can show you what results are possible with this procedure at our clinic.
What can FaceTite treat?
SKIN LAXITY
Radiofrequency energy will help to tighten the treated skin, stimulating collagen production.
EXCESS FAT POCKETS
Radiofrequency assisted liposuction (RFAL) will involve melting targeted fat cells and removing them with a small cannula.
FINE LINES AND WRINKLES
An increase of collagen production in the treated area can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Possible benefits of FaceTite
As a non-surgical approach, using just a few, small incisions, FaceTite can be a suitable alternative to a facelift for patients who want to address minimal to moderate skin laxity.
The procedure is associated with less downtime than a traditional facelift, with an expected downtime of about one to two days.
The combination approach of radiofrequency and liposuction can help to tighten the skin and remove unwanted fat simultaneously.
Pricing
Pricing for FaceTite varies based on individual needs, as the required dosages differ. Prices start at $3,500.
Suitable candidates for the treatment
Your suitability for a FaceTite procedure can depend on a variety of factors. Generally, suitable candidates will have minor to moderate skin laxity on the lower facial areas, such as the cheeks, jawline and chin. While the treatment can target unwanted fat pockets, it is not designed to be a weight loss procedure. Candidates should be within a healthy weight range.
FaceTite candidates are typically between 40 and 60 years of age, but candidates below or above this age range can still be considered suitable for the procedure. Some contraindications to the procedure can include active skin infections or open wounds in the treatment area and health conditions that may delay healing.
During a consultation, you will discuss your health, procedure goals and expectations to determine if you are a suitable candidate for the treatment.
The FaceTite Procedure
FaceTite is performed under local anaesthesia, targeting the lower areas of the face. Then, a few small incisions will be placed in strategic locations. Before your procedure, you will discuss your treatment steps in detail, so that you can expect where the small incisions will be placed.
First, a small metal device will emit radiofrequency waves, liquifying targeted fat cells and stimulating collagen production. Once the fat cells are liquified, a small cannula is inserted to suction away the liquified fat.
Once the procedure is complete, your incisions will be sutured closed. Depending on the details of your treatment plan, your procedure can take as little as 60 minutes to perform.
Recovery and aftercare
After your procedure, you may need to wear a compression garment to help swelling subside. Your compression garment will also help the skin in the treated area to tighten. While you will be able to see results immediately, complete results will take some time, as the body’s natural healing response produces more collagen. It can take a few months for the effects of increased collagen production to show, including tighter skin and fewer fine lines and wrinkles.
You will be provided with aftercare instructions tailored to your personalised FaceTite procedure. Generally, it’s essential to keep the small incision sites clean, preventing the risk of infection. You may be asked to avoid excessive heat exposure, strenuous exercise and excessive sun exposure for a set period of time after your procedure.
You may be instructed to avoid taking certain medications that can delay the body’s healing process, avoid smoking and avoid alcohol consumption. As well as wearing your compression garment, sleeping on an extra pillow after the procedure can help swelling subside.
FaceTite results are long-lasting, typically lasting up to five years. Factors such as the natural ageing process, gravity and sun exposure may influence the results, meaning that results are not considered permanent.

Possible side effects
During your consultation, you will be informed of all of the possible side effects of FaceTite in detail. Since the procedure requires a few small incisions, some risks can include infection, swelling, bruising and bleeding at the incision sites. You will be provided with aftercare instructions to help minimise these side effects.
Incisions will inevitably cause some scarring, but you can discuss the placement of your incisions and appropriate aftercare to help minimise the visibility of scarring. Initial scarring from incisions can often fade over time.
