Our experience with non-invasive treatments
With a focus on minimally invasive to non-invasive treatment options, our team at Ascension are trained by Dr. Scott Allison to perform personalised, effective treatments.
When performed by experienced staff, Healite II can have soothing benefits for the skin, reducing redness, treating acne and supporting skin healing after another treatment.
“I will often recommend Heallite to patients following a procedure to improve wound healing and reduce bruising time. It is a great add-on to any treatment performed in-clinic, and can be performed the following day.” – Dr. Scott Allison.

Suitable candidates for the treatment
Suitable for all skin types, Healite II can be beneficial for those who want to improve their skin before a special event or support skin healing after another treatment. The treatment can help to reduce redness, swelling and bruising, supporting the aftercare process following treatments such as laser. Candidates with active acne and inflamed skin can also benefit from the treatment.
During a consultation, each candidate will have their treatment area assessed and discuss their skin concerns with Dr. Allison. After a thorough assessment, he will be able to determine if Healite II is a suitable treatment option. The non-invasive treatment may be performed on candidates when pregnant or breastfeeding, but you should always adhere to your personalised advice.
The Healite II procedure
Before starting the Healite II treatment, your skin will be prepped to remove bacteria and any makeup or residue from skincare products.
In a 10 to 20-minute procedure, Healite II uses low-level light therapy (LLLT) to support skin recovery and the appearance of the skin. The Healite device is placed over the skin to deliver wavelength light energy in a comfortable treatment.
After treatment, you will be able to resume your normal daily routine. You may need a series of treatments, depending on your skin’s needs and your desired results. For acne treatment, we generally recommend eight sessions twice per week, but you will receive a personalised treatment plan during your consultation.
Pricing
Pricing for Healite II varies based on individual needs, as the required dosages differ. Prices start at $70.
Possible side effects
Healite II is generally associated with very few and minimal side effects. Most individuals experience only mild, temporary effects following treatment. The most common side effects include slight redness in the treated area and a gentle sensation of warmth, both of which typically resolve within a short period of time after the procedure. While these reactions are generally mild and temporary, some people may experience slight sensitivity or swelling, which usually dissipates within a few hours.
To support a smooth recovery, it is important to follow the recommended aftercare steps. Dr. Allison will provide you with specific guidance on how to care for your skin post-treatment. During your consultation, we will discuss any personalised recommendations to help soothe and protect your skin.
