After cosmetic treatments, patients can experience mild swelling, tenderness, redness and bruising in the treated area. Generally, these side effects are minor and will subside shortly after the treatment session. Aftercare instructions are also put in place to minimise complications. These complications can include infection, asymmetrical results, and serious complications as a result of incorrectly placed injections.
