Recovery and aftercare
Recovery time after Rejuran is minimal, with effects lasting only 1-2 days. Rejuran injections are scattered between 1-1.5 cm apart across the prescribed treatment area, so expect 40-60 blebs that usually settle within 12 to 36 hours.
To ensure optimal results and a smooth recovery, always follow the aftercare advice of your Doctor or Nurse. It’s recommended to avoid makeup, strenuous exercise or activities that cause excessive sweating for 24-48 hours after treatment.
Possible side effects
Like with any cosmetic treatment, being aware of potential risks and side effects is essential. Whilst Rejuran treatment is generally well-tolerated, some patients may encounter mild swelling and redness of the skin after the treatment. Temporary small bumps at the injection sites are also observed, but these typically subside within one to two days. Serious side effects are uncommon.
