Offering a variety of treatments, including advanced and innovative methods, we believe in providing our patients with the highest quality treatments available.
“By middle age, our NAD+ levels have plummeted to half that of our youth. Numerous studies have demonstrated that boosting NAD+ levels increases insulin sensitivity, reverses mitochondrial dysfunction, and extends lifespan.” – Dr. Scott Allison.

About NAD+ Therapy
NAD+ is found within all living cells in the body. NAD stands for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide. It is a coenzyme found in all living cells and has even been called an anti-aging molecule because of the many important roles it plays in promoting health and prolonging lifespan. This powerful molecule has a lot of potential for new therapeutic opportunities. Studies have shown that it can help alleviate many effects of ageing and chronic conditions on the human body and brain.
Aging cells have a decreased level of NAD+. This affects the body’s natural ability to repair itself. As a result mental and physical health can decline. Lifestyle factors can accelerate the decline of NAD+ in our cells. These include stress, medications, alcohol, and poor diet.
Receiving NAD+ via an IM injection or IV drip is the only way to ensure that you get 100% bioavailability from the molecule. This means that your body will absorb the highest possible supplemental coenzymes and convert them into molecular energy.
Oral supplements of NAD do exist, but it is difficult for your body to absorb NAD+ this way and thus hard to guarantee results. Currently, IV therapy is the safest and most efficient way of supplementing the coenzyme in your body.
How NAD+ Works
THE NAD+ DIFFERENCE
Biological processes aided by NAD+ include:
- Repairing and protecting DNA
- Gene expression
- Extracting cellular energy from nutrition
- Maintaining mitochondrial function
- Chromosomal integrity preservation
- Calcium signalling
- Epigenetic and post-translational modifications
In layman’s terms, we need NAD+ to live. However, as we get older, our bodies generate less and less of the coenzyme. This is one reason why we begin to feel the effects of ageing and become more prone to age-related illnesses as the years pass by.
One of the ways you can supplement NAD+ in your body is through IV or IM therapy. This is a holistic, all-natural way to help your body fight against ageing and illness to feel healthier and more youthful.

Suitable candidates for the treatment
Your suitability for NAD+ injections will need to be discussed during your consultation. The treatment can have a variety of benefits for many candidates, but may not be a suitable treatment choice for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have certain health conditions.
As well as not having any contraindications to the treatment, suitable candidates should have realistic expectations for the results and will be able to follow any recovery instructions provided by Dr. Allison or our team.
The NAD+ therapy procedure
First, your skin will be sanitised to ensure proper hygiene, focusing on the specific area that the injections will be administered.
While monitoring your comfort levels, the NAD+ injections will be administered by Dr. Scott Allison or one of our highly trained team members. The injections are administered into the muscle for better absorption. During the treatment, you may feel muscle weakness, lethargic and unsettled in the stomach. This can last up to 5 minutes and is just due to the high dose entering the cells. Dr. Allison will guide you through this process.
Your treatment can take 10-15 minutes. You will be able to resume your daily routine after the treatment, while any residual soreness from the injection should fade within 24 hours.
Recovery and aftercare
After NAD+ injections, patients may experience temporary side effects, such as nausea, muscle weakness, fatigue, an unsettled stomach and brain fog. These side effects should subside on their own after your treatment session.
While you can generally resume your daily routine after your treatment, you should monitor your overall health, stay hydrated, and avoid strenuous exercise. You will be given some instructions to keep the injection site clean and free from irritation or infection.
