Cosmetic Nurse Injector

You should have a thorough understanding of facial anatomy, danger areas and safe injecting technique to ensure the safest treatments for our patients. You should be technically proficient in undertaking dermal filler and anti-wrinkle treatments of all common areas.

Cosmetic medicine should be your chosen career path and you will require 2 years full time experience (or part-time equivalent) in cosmetic injecting. A portfolio of before & after photos that highlight your expertise will be essential in being a competitive applicant for this position. Any further courses or training in facial anatomy and cosmetic injecting will be highly regarded.

Our ideal candidate

Our ideal candidate will:

• Have expert level skills in facial assessment and treatment planning
• Be proficient in all common indications of dermal filler treatments – specifically cheeks, lips, jawline, tear trough and skin boosters
• Be proficient in anti-wrinkle treatments for all upper, middle & lower facial indications
• Have an in-depth knowledge of hyaluronic acid fillers, botulinum toxin, platelet rich plasma, cosmetic lasers, treatment of pigmentation and skin tightening treatments
• Possession of a laser license is desirable, but not essential
• Liaise with Dr. Allison and take guidance on treatment plans to ensure excellent cosmetic outcomes and safety for our patients
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a holistic experience within the clinic
• Provide cosmetic treatments that are within your scope of practice and training
• Comply with relevant health and safety requirements
• Maintain a professional image with a high standard of grooming
• Have AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and relevant indemnity insurance
