Recommended Treatments
To help you choose the right treatment method, you will have a thorough consultation at Ascension.
After assessing the condition of your skin, discussing your personal goals and discussing health and lifestyle factors, we can create a personalised treatment plan with the method of your choice. Using a combination of methods can be an effective option for some patients.
01 Â / Morpheus8 RF Needling
With a combined approach, using microneedling and radio-frequency (RF) technology, Morpheus8 works to trigger the body’s natural healing response. When the body’s natural healing response is triggered, the production of collagen and elastin increases, which can have a skin-tightening effect.
To sufficiently tighten the skin, you may need multiple treatment sessions with Morpheus8. Morpheus8 can treat skin laxity on the face and multiple areas of the body. Downtime after treatment is minimal, with some minor redness and discomfort subsiding quickly after treatment.
02 Â /FaceTite
FaceTite uses radiofrequency-assisted liposuction (RFAL), with a few small incisions. The treatment can remove unwanted fat while simultaneously stimulating collagen and elastin production, prompting the skin to tighten.
The treatment can be a suitable alternative to a traditional facelift, using fewer incisions. FaceTite can treat areas of the lower face, including the cheeks, jawline and chin. Since the treatment does require incisions, downtime can include some swelling and bruising, but your personalised aftercare instructions will help you support your body’s healing process.
03 Â / Dermapen Microneedling
Dermapen Microneedling works by creating multiple tiny punctures in the skin, focused on the specific treatment area. The tiny punctures will prompt the body’s healing response, stimulating more collagen and elastin.
As more collagen and elastin is produced, it can improve skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of loose skin. Multiple treatment sessions may be best to achieve noticeable results. Dermapen Microneedling demands little downtime, with minor inflammation and discomfort lasting from 24 hours to a couple of days.
04 Â / Tixel Skin Tightening
Tixel Skin Tightening uses pure radiated heat in a fast and controlled method, delivering heat for an average of one millisecond at a time. The heat generated within the skin stimulates the skin’s healing response, increasing the production of collagen and elastin.
With minimal downtime, you may experience redness, heat and swelling after the treatment, but this will subside within a few hours to days. The skin can become flaky and dry after the treatment, lasting for one week to 10 days.
05 Â / Laser Genesis
Using advanced laser technology, Laser Genesis generates heat in the skin, stimulating the production of collagen. Once collagen production is increased, it can improve the skin’s elasticity, reducing the appearance of skin laxity. The heat from the laser is controlled and delivered in pulses, precisely targeting specific areas of the skin.
Candidates usually need about six treatments to achieve sufficient results, but the right number of sessions for you can be discussed during your consultation. The treatment’s minimal downtime can include some slight redness, which typically subsides within a few hours after treatment.
